Researchers at the Zucker Hillside Hospital studied the effectiveness of Omega 3 fatty acids in fish oil in treating psychiatric symptoms among teenage and young adults (ages 12 to 25) who are at elevated risk. They also studied whether fish oil can help those individuals function better at school, work and social environments.
